Its Thursdays!!! Bennigans!!

Thursday I went to Bennigans, most of my arrival group were there. It was good to see everyone as we are all working different places and times it is good to catch and gossip hehe. Also Andrew arrived on Tuesday so we had to take him out for a few drinks!!

Such had a good night!!!

Epcot and the FOOD&WINE Festival!!!!!

On Thursday I had the day off so I went to Epcot wiht Lucy. We first headed to Test Track which is a good ride. Then at the end they have all these cool cars, I want a HUMMER!! We then went on Soarin, which is one of my favourite rides. You are in a glider and you see loads of images from around US. You even get to smell the oranges from the fields. Lucy and I waited so we could be right at the top which has the best view.

At the moment Epcot has this big Food & Wine Festival, which is soo cool. They have added loads more countries to the Worldshow case, where you can go try the different foods and wines from that country. Cost like $1-$2 for each country and you get a small sample. We started at Canada, where we tried New Zealand. Yummy Kiwi and Custard roll, then I went to Greece to have the salad. We wondered in to the UK palivon I took lots of pictures, love working here. Rose and Crown is where I work, with fish and Chip shop which has jus been reopened. Such a pretty pavilon.

After UK we walked to France where I tried Escargots Provencal - SNAILS!!!!! They were cooked in garlic butter so you didnt really realise what you were eating!! I tried not to think about what I was eating!!! So glad I tried them, but dont think I could eat anymore!!!
I had a very yummy Champagne Slush. After France we tried Spain - Albondigas a kinda meatball. I was starting to get full, but we kept going. Next was Japan where we had Noodle salad with Shrimp, this was very good. Then finally we had Pizza in Italy, I couldnt fit anymore in but they was soo much more to try will def have to go back!!

Love all the countries such amazing buildings!!
After Italy we carried on walking round and I got a Strawberry Margaritas these are soo amazing. We headed back to the UK very full. Had the best time, love the Worldshow case always so much to see esperially with the Festival at the moment. 

Food & Wine Festival

After going round the world once Lucy and I went back to the UK. Lucy meet up with some peeps and I met up with Candice and her friend Tessa. We headed off round the World again but to taste the different desserts!! Some were yummy, some were interesting!!!


In Thailand we had sweet mango & tapioca soup for dessert, it was nice, but very weird!! Glad tried it. Then in Scandinavia we had Ligonberry Moose, it was soo light. Very different again. I also had apple strudel with vanilla sauce from Oktoberfest which was the best.

Then in Canada I tried Chedder Cheese Soup which was recommended by Candice it was amazing. I want more!!
We watched the fireworks from Canada, which was a good way to finish off the day. Had the best time, so glad I went round the Food & Wine Festival. Want to go back at their were couple of these I didnt try as I was too full!!!!!! 

My Roomie

On Wednesday I went out with my room mate, Candice she is from Canada. We went to Bennigans for something to eat and a few drinks which turned in to a lot. hehe. Had a really good night, was really nice getting to know Candice.

Ian and Matt come to Visit

Ian and Matt came to see me for the evening as they have been on holiday in Maimi. They met me after work at Epcot, they both loved my costume!!!!! Was sooo nice to get a lift home from work rather than get the bus. Ian and Matt went to check in to a hotel and then came back to the commons to pick me up. We went out for dinner then headed to Downtown Disney for a wonder round.

We tried loads of different hats on, was sooo much fun!!! So good to see them. 

UK Lasses

Monday night I went to UK lasses, I didnt drink much as I have a cold at the moment! We all went to Beach Club then to Motion at Pleasure Island. It was a good night dancing and catching up with everyone.
 

CLEARWATER!!!

On Sunday we rented a car and drove to Clearwater which is on the west coast, was soo amazing!! It was soo hot!! James and I rented a jet ski which was really cool, didnt like driving it fast though!! Was soo nice chilling out and relaxing. Di and I walked along the beach, the water is like bath water and the sand is soo white!!


Didnt want to go home!! cant wait to come back to explore some more!!
 

Evening at Clearwater!!!

Too round off an amazing day we walked along to Pier 60 to find some dinner and watch the sun go down!! We went to this cool crab resturant where we sat outside, Di and I shared the steamed bucket of snow crab, shrimp, mussels soooo good. have to go back!! While we were eating there was music playing, felt soo chilled out!!


Once we finished the sun had started to go down so headed to the pier which was really pretty. I took soo many pictures it was soo beauitful. This is way I came to America!!

I couldnt stop taking pictures, love the ones with the boats with the sunsets!

This was amazing day and hopefully many more to come, didnt want to take the car back this morning!! 

Love Work!!

So friday was my first day at work, started at 11am and finished at 6pm. It was a really good day, first I was trained in Greeter which is were we greet the guests to the Rose and Crown, check them in for a table, let them know if we have a wait. Really enjoyed interacting witht the guests. Then in the afternoon I was a Seater, which is pretty simple taking guests to their table, but Disney style you have to be cheesey and talk lots to them while walking to the table. Day went pretty quick, but it was very hot!! When are not so busy we have to go out on to the street in the UK pavilon and interact with the guests so we play football. Thats when it gets hot!!!
So this is me in my costume, bet you are all laughing. It is not too bad, bets wearing a black suit everyday!! hehe.


On Saturday I was greeter for the afternoon /evening shift, started at 1:15pm and finished at 9pm. I loved it, hehe!! We were so busy, guests trying to get me to sit them outside for the fireworks, but I cant do that! The Rose and Crown has the best view of the fireworks while you are eating dinner. As all the guests were seated at 9pm the fireworks started and they were amazing!! Thought to myself that I am actually working for Disney!! you really do get caught up in the magic!! so sad!!

So thats my first two days at work, off for day now, yippee!! 

IIIumiNations and Beaches and Cream!!

After work on Friday, I went back to Epcot with James to meet up with some of peeps that were already there. We got Margaritas from Mexico they were amazing and quite strong, we watched the firework display from Mexico and it was amazing!! Gave me tingles again!! need to stop getting them!! everything is just soo magical!! I will get to see these fireworks every evening from work!! It really is cool



After the fireworks we went for dessert at Beaches and Cream where we had the kitchen sink!! Had everything in it, ice cream, whole can of whipped cream!! brownies, fruit. It was amazing and we all felt pretty sick after!! but it was worth it!!

 

Rainforest Cafe

After Typhoon Lagoon meet up with some peeps for dinner, we went to Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney, I had heard so many good things about the resturant I couldnt wait to go there! It was amazing, really felt like you were in a rainforest. Food was good too, I had a shrimp and brazil pizza which was sooo yummy but couldnt finish it!!! so I took it home with me, love that you can do that out here!!


Loved this resturant will def be going back!!! They even had an indoor thunder and lightning storm!!!!

After dinner we had a wonder round Downtown Disney and had to have my picture taken with Pooh!! We also went in to the best Xmas shop!! cant wait for xmas now!!
 

Typhoon Lagoon

On my second day off Thursday - myself, Kerri and Dom went to Typhoon for the day. Finally I could lay in the sun!! Really like this waterpark as it is very relaxing. We chilled in the water with the huge wave machine and went on a couple of rides, oh and went on the Lazy river twice!love it!! I actually nearly fell asleep while it was going round!!I felt very chilled by the end of the day and felt like I was on holiday!!

It was sooo hot and by the end of the day I had crisped myself nicely!!
Must remember next time waterproof camera.

Animal Kingdom!!

I love this park, soo good!! As I have two days off wanted to make the most of it, so some of us went to Animal Kingdom for the day. It was such a lovely hot day, the sun was shinning all day, this why I wanted to live out here.


There is a new ride called Expedition Everest, which is were you get chased my a yete. Such a good ride we went on it twice.


We went on Safari and saw some of the animals but you need to get there early for that.


We watched the parade before heading to watch Festival of the Lion King, Wow this is amazing show we all had goose bumps and sung every song. I could watch it all day.


After the park closed we caught the bus to Disney MGM Studios to watch Fanasmic and go on couple of rides, but I camera ran out of memory so couldnt take anymore pictures. So will have to go back, hehe!! It was a brilliant show again I had goose bumps!!!
We were soo hungry so we went to Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney for dinner was very yummy. Love Disney discount!!hehe.

I love it out here, cant wait to start work and create some magic!!! so chessey!! 

JellyRolls!!!!

On Tuesday evening we went to the boardwalk which is part of Disney, never been before and it was very pretty at night. We headed to a bar called JellyRolls which is the best bar. Two guys play the pinao and take requests from the crowd. They played some old classics, good old american music. Had a good night, will def be going back there.

We all had a good dance and sing song so much fun.



 

Epcot Discovery Day!

Today was our last day of training before we head to our pavlions and have on the job training. It was a really good day, but very tried now!! We arrived before stage at Epcot, then we had a presentation on Epcot and how Walt Disney really the park to look like. After we headed out in to the park for a tour. We started at the main entrances of the park which is where Space Ship Earth is(picture below). This ball is huge and is the focual point of Epcot. So this is where I am working.
We had a boat tour round the World Show case and this a picture of the Rose and Crown in the UK which is where I will be working. It looks sooo pretty from the water, it is one of the best places to work the fireworks from. So proud.


Was such a good day, a magic momment happened while we were wondering round which is a secret. But very special. We also collected our costumes today and bet you all cant wait to laugh at me!!

Well I have two days off now, cant wait. Off to Animal Kingdom which will be good. Miss you all xxxxxx
